Everyone in you company should have a basic understanding of Health & Safety. We don’t mean what they heard on the news about conkers in school but about the obligations placed on both employers and employees by the Health & Safety at Work Act and subsequent legislation. The best way to achieve this is by training (one of those obligations placed on you as an employer).
A half day course can cost less than £300 and will provide attendees with an OFQAL recognised qualification – FAA Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace.
This entry level course covers a range of subjects including:
- Understanding the importance of health, safety and welfare standards in the workplace
- Knowing how hazards and risks are controlled in the workplace
- Being aware of the main causes and effects of poor health and safety at work
- Understanding how health and safety information is communicated in the workplace
All aspects of Health and Safety are important to a business whether you are an employee, contractor or supplier and this half-day course will benefit both the learner and the business, ensuring that the working environment is a safe and healthy one.
The course is run at your premises so employees are not away from site unnecessarily and can be run for up to 16 delegates.
